The is the hub of the vibrant, dynamic, and diverse City of Troy. The Library sees over 700,000 visitors per year and serves an educated and involved community. Under the direction of the Head of Youth Services, this position will allow the student to gain practical library knowledge and skills, while working alongside professional librarians and staff.
DUTIES
- Provide reference and readers' advisory to children and their families.
- Assist patrons with library technology.
- Assist with planning and implementation of programming for children and their families.
- Engage in outreach opportunities within the community.
- Assist with collection management as needed.
- Work positively and collaboratively with other library staff.
- Perform related duties and general library work as required.
