What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Water Maintenance Worker position at City of Tukwila?
The Public Works Department creates a foundation for high quality of life in Tukwila by protecting the health and safety of residents, visitors, and businesses. Most of the work is performed outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Occasionally they are required to respond to emergencies after hours in addition to their normal shift.
This is a seasonal/temporary position and will not exceed 1040 hours in a 12-month period. Hours are expected to be 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday; however, hours could vary depending upon business needs.
Wage: $22.00 per hour

May assist in water repairs and related work.
May direct and control traffic, to include placing traffic cones and signs; flagging traffic; and closing lanes and streets.
