Summary
Responsible for supervising, instructing, and coaching all participants.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all external and internal customers.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues and requests.
- Coaches a wide variety of skill levels
- Responsible for the development of workouts and preparation for swim meets
- Responsible for the supervision and coaching of swim team
- Responsible for the supervision and leadership of any assistant swim team coaches or instructors
- Responsible for organization of team and designated swimmers during weekly swim meets
- Follow established City of University Park policies and procedures
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular and punctual on-site attendance

Working Conditions
Work is performed predominantly outdoors and involves direct contact with the general public. The work schedule of a Swim Coach will include morning swim team practice / clinic shifts Monday through Friday and weekly swim meet shifts.
Job Type - Seasonal
In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, this position is not eligible for overtime for hours worked over 40 in a designated work week.
Schedule
The City of University Park is currently accepting applications for Aquatic Positions. All positions require the ability to work flexible schedules up to 40 hours per week, and the availability to work Sunday through Saturday, 6 : 30 a.m. through 9 : 00 p.m., including holidays and special events. Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
