JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Parks and Recreation team, reporting directly to the Rental Coordinator, this position assists
customers with special events, rentals, and community activities at the Bob Crane Community Center, the Amelita
Mirolo Barn and additional parks facilities.
This is a part-time role which will include evening and weekend hours.

• Greets and assists renters and caterers needs with rentals, special events and community activities.
• Ensures the Amelita Mirolo Barn and shelters are opened and closed at scheduled times; maintains the
security of the building and responsible for safety action during emergency situations.
• Sweeps and mops floors, dusts, cleans tables, chairs, walls and counters, empties trash and recycling,
and washes windows.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and drinking fountains replenishes restroom supplies.
• Sets up and tears down tables and chairs for meetings, special events, classes and programs.
• Cleans, unlock and locks park shelter houses and restrooms.
• Meet and greet guests who have rented shelter houses.
• Maintains accurate records of incident/accident and assigned reports; accurately communicates
information to assigned supervisor.
• Responds to customer needs in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Provide general first aid and respond to emergencies in cases of participants injury or illness. Initiate
building emergency actions plans and fill out appropriate accident and incident reports when needed.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs other duties as required. (5%)QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 16 years of age;
• Prior event planning or management experience preferred.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• CPR and First Aid certification required within first thirty days of employment;
• Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the City’s insurance policy.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: (* indicates developed after employment).
Knowledge of:
