The City of Ventura is now accepting applications for the position of Digital Publishing Supervisor (Promotional Only) . This position is critical in overseeing the City's digital publishing and mail services, ensuring high-quality production and distribution of materials for all City departments.
As a Digital Publishing Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the activities of the Digital Publishing and Mail Services section. This role involves managing city-wide digital publishing requests, coordinating production schedules, maintaining high-speed digital printing equipment, and ensuring compliance with City policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide leadership to staff, optimizing workflow efficiency and maintaining high-quality customer service standards.

Experience and Qualifications for Success!
A combination of education, training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school with additional college coursework in the graphic arts, communication, business, or a related field, two years of experience performing difficult and complex digital publishing services comparable to that of a Digital Publishing Specialist II with the City of Ventura, and prior supervisory or leadworker experience is required. An associate degree in graphics, communication, business or a related certification from a vocational or trade school is preferred.
License : Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license is required.
