The City of Waco Seeks
A dedicated and proactive Public Health Planner to join our Public Health Department. This position plays a vital role in enhancing our community's preparedness for public health emergencies and ensuring the effective coordination of response efforts. The successful candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) plans, manage inventory for emergency equipment, conduct training programs, and collaborate with community partners and regional agencies. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about public health and emergency preparedness.
Minimum Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelors Degree in Risk Management, Health Policy, Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance, Urban & Regional Planning, Public Health, Nursing, Business or Public Administration, Emergency Management, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Public Health Programs or Emergency / Health Planning
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
If BSN, professional registration as Registered Nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing is required
