Starting Salary: $15.00 hourlyPosition Overview: Under basic supervision, performs customer service functions for visitors at the Waco Welcome Center (A division of the Waco Convention Center and Convention & Visitors Bureau). Minimum Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GEDOne year of customer service experienceDriver's LicenseEssential Functions: Provides customer services for Welcome Center and CVB clients by providing information about the City and selling merchandise from the gift shop according to City policies and procedures.Works the Mobile Welcome Center during off-site events and activations; provides information, sells merchandise, provides customer service and support to visitors and residents.Processes cash transactions, operates the cash register, and prepares deposits in accordance with City of Waco cash handling procedures.Fulfills online retail order information requests.Weekend shifts required.
