Part-Time Production Specialist

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Production Specialist. Employees in this classification should have technical production skills, including but not limited to studio and single camera field work; content and program feature editing; assisting with equipment set-ups and strikes. They will work with a production team of producers, writers, editors, graphic artists, audio technicians and engineers.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D equivalent
• Copy of high school diploma or transcripts required with application
• Three (3) years of television production experience
• Must be able to operate DSLR/HD/ENG Cameras and understand basic video production lighting techniques
• Solid video judgment is essential
• A creative eye and excellent storytelling skills is necessary
• Four (4) years of video/editing experience
• Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Ability to shoot and edit with speed and efficiency
• Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment and journalistic ethics
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays is a must
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs as required
• Driving record must meet City's standards for insurability.
• Copy of driver's license required with application
• Must submit a video reel of the most recent production work at time of interview.
