The City of Warrensburg is accepting applications for the position of Lifeguard for the Parks and Recreation department.
The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all who are using our aquatic facilities. Enforcing pool rules and regulations will be a key function of this role. Water rescues will be required and all in this position are required to be strong swimmers, understand water safety, and facilitate first aid. Maintaining Starguard Elite Lifeguard Certification will be required and provided. Applicants must be 16 years or older to apply. This position will be part-time and can be year round as the Parks and Recreation has both an indoor and outdoor pool with starting pay at $13.75 per hour.
While performing the essential function of this job some tasks will involve the ability to run, climb, swim. It may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling a heavy objects, materials and or persons (20-250 pounds).
