Part Time Police Records Clerk
The City of Warrensburg is accepting applications for a Part Time Records Clerk Position within the Warrensburg Police Department. Starting wage for this position is $14.79 per hour. Applicants will be expected to work Monday – Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with unpaid holidays off.
This position collects, processes, and distributes data and information in support of the operations of the Warrensburg Police Department.
The Records Clerk will be expected to frequently interact with the general public including visitors to the Police Station, receive and forward phone calls to the appropriate persons, and take and distribute messages. This position will respond to requests for incident reports and provide information according to the Missouri Sunshine Law and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
This position will be expected to collect and enter all necessary information to applicable state and federal crime databases ensuring for completeness and accuracy. The tasks and responsibilities listed herein shall not be considered exhaustive and additional tasks and responsibilities may be required.
Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Missouri Driver’s License, computer proficiency with experience in working with Microsoft Word and Excel. The applicant must be self-motivated and have good organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks, have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented and pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
