What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard I (Temporary/Hourly) position at City of Watsonville?
Important candidate characteristics include but not limited to: proficient swimmer, positive, mature, reliable, professional, courteous and consistent.
Will provide American Red Cross Lifeguard training for candidates hired on.
- Must have current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Lifeguard Training Certification (or be currently enrolled in a class prior to employment with a projected completion date to receive a certificate).
- Should have completed junior year in high school, and have experience in aquatics such as: swim team, life guarding, formal lessons, swim instructor or demonstrate a good knowledge of competitive and lifesaving strokes.
