What are the responsibilities and job description for the AQUATIC COORDINATOR / ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH position at City of Weatherford, TX?
You are a great assistant when organizing team workouts and swim meets.
You can administer periodic tests and make recommendations for reassignment, when necessary.
You have great communication skills when dealing with participants and parents to discuss progress for the next Olympic stars.

You have exception skills in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with co-workers and visitors.
You enjoy working in the Texas heat and sun and understand the chemical hazards that are part of a pool environment.
Who you will be working with: You will be working with a very dedicated and safety-minded individuals, all under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach and Recreation Manager, a fantastic team to be on.

Qualifications
The first hurdle: We are hoping you have all of these important assets. If you don’t, please tell us how close you come. Above knowledge and skill may be gained by one season experience as swim coach. Any combination of training and experience leading to the described level of knowledge and skill works for us, as well. You must have Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR certifications or other comparable certifications. Special consideration will be given to applications with L.G.I. certification. You must be at least 18 year of age (no getting around this one). You have advanced knowledge of and able to perform and instruct all swimming strokes such the Fly, Back, Breast and Free in a patient and professional manner. You are able to perform basic arithmetic, and can read, interpret, and research handbooks, organizational policies, regulations and statistical data. You are able to write, maintain, and complete records and reports in an accurate and timely manner. You have knowledge and understanding of Hy-tek’s Team Manager or Meet Manager for Swimming. You must have good hearing for emergency and non-emergency situations for our pool patrons.
