The Team
The City of Webster Groves Public Affairs & Engagement team takes pride in executing the traditional functions of Public Affairs & Engagement while providing excellent customer service.
These customer service functions include :
Intake of building and occupancy permitsProcess payments for permits, applications and reviewsSell Gift Certificates (Webster Bucks)Examples of Duties
What you'll do- Key Responsibilities
Provide prompt and courteous customer service to the general public by disseminating information, answering inquiries or directing questions to appropriate personnel.Receive and process cash receipts in software system for all money received by the City for permits.Credit Card, check and cash payments for : permits, parking tickets, licenses, and Webster Bucks.Perform activities related to contractor licenses and maintains files of support documentation.Distribute permits as the front desk is the main pick-up location for permits.Enter paid parking ticket data into online systemIssue and renew all parking permit tags, maintaining the database and sending out annual renewal notices.Enter manual work orders pursuant to resident's needs and submits them to the appropriate department for corrective action.Compose and prepare various correspondence.Perform general office duties such as office computer applications, copying, filing, scanning and data entry; maintains Department records systems.Make recommendations to improve efficiencies in processes and procedures.Typical Qualifications
You Have (Knowledge & Abilities) :
High school diplomaThree (3) years administrative or fiscal experience with direct customer service contact.Excellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to pass an extensive background checkAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered by the city.?
