Job Announcement:
The purpose of this position is to provide animal control operations, including calls and complaints, shelter maintenance, animal care, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping. Ensure compliance with all city and state regulations. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Animal Control Certification.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
- One to three years' experience with animals in a shelter environment is preferred.
Special Requirements:
This is an Essential Services position, and the employee will be required to provide services in the course and scope of employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Webster's citizens per the City's Emergency Services Guidelines.
Salary : $19 - $23
