What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Inspector II position at City of Weirton?
The City of Weirton is accepting resumes for the position of Building Inspector II within the Inspections Department. The position is responsible for city-wide inspections to assure compliance with the State of West Virginia, City of Weirton Building and Property Maintenance Code, as well as inspection and enforcement of the City of Weirton’s Codified Ordinances. Applicants must have or the ability to obtain licensing from the State Fire Marshal’s office as a Building Inspector.
Construction experience, an electrical license, a plumbing license, and/or a HVAC license is preferred.
