This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of City infrastructure, including public property, rights-of-way and easements. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and technical expertise in areas such as stormwater systems, pavements, bridges, streetlights, traffic control devices, parking lots, sidewalks and multi-use paths. Key Responsibilities : Oversee the maintenance and operation of City infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.Develop and implement both short-term and long-term goals aligned with the City's strategic direction.Identify and implement process improvements and innovative practices to enhance departmental efficiency.Apply asset management strategies for system maintenance, security, upgrades and preventive care.Facilitate professional responses to government and regulatory agency inquiries.Develop and update risk and resilience plans, mutual-aid agreements and emergency operation plans. QualificationsJob Qualifications Education, experience, and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and / or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, bachelor degree required. Minimum of ten years of related experience required.
