What are the responsibilities and job description for the Keep WPBB Coordinator position at City of West Palm Beach?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Which are not in any hierarchical order)
1. Develop, coordinate, and promote relevant Keep America Beautiful programs for public awareness, fund development, education, and special events.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
3. Serve as liaison to government agencies, school districts, businesses, civic associations, and media in order to encourage participation in community workdays.
4. Prepare annual and semi-annual reports to maintain certification in local, state and national programs including conducting annual cost/benefit analysis and litter index and updating website and DAB and Clean Streets dashboards.
5. Prepares correspondence, materials, infographics, web content, marketing materials and press releases in support of outreach initiatives.
6. Represent the City at meetings, forums, and workshops.
7. Oversee the administration of the annual budget including grants and contracts.
8. Develop and interpret policies and procedures for programs and events.
9. Conducts general research and provide reports as needed, creates, updates and utilizes, databases, project tracking systems and other technical information systems to track services, projects, and programs.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary
$51,908 Annually - Pay Grade 52

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Public Administration, Communications or related field and three (3) years fund raising or public relations experience; or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience related to Keep America Beautiful, Inc. programs, grant administration and budget administration and related to non-profit organization, highly desirable.
Special Driving Requirements
- Have not lost any driving privileges by reason of revocation, suspension or denial of license, or have been convicted and/or had an adjudication withheld of three or more moving violations.
- Have not had one DUI (Driving Under the Influence) in any preceding twenty-four (24) month period. License suspension of two weeks or less or suspensions based only on non-moving violations that have been cleared will not automatically result in revocation of driving privileges.
- Have not had more than one DUI (conviction or adjudication withheld) in Florida or any other state within the past ten (10) years.
Education Requirements: To be considered valid (or verified) for position qualification purposes, and consistent with City Hiring Policy 4-5, a High School, GED or equivalent diploma, and all higher education degrees or certifications must have been issued by:
International degrees will be evaluated to determine if they satisfy qualification requirements.

State of Emergency: When normal operations of City departments are suspended or interrupted due to a declaration by the Mayor that a state of emergency exists, all employees will be deemed critical by the City. For the preparation and/or continuation of emergency operations or for special work detail, employees deemed necessary shall be required to work. Employees deemed critical by the City but not needed for the initial preparation and/or continuation of emergency operations or for special work detail may be directed not to report to work, and given paid administrative leave or they may be reassigned to another location that best meet the needs of the City.
