Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical work, including high voltage systems and commercial and industrial settings.
Duties:
- Perform electrical line work including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Operate bucket trucks for elevated work
- Conduct tree trimming near power lines
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Welding tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Handle cabling for power distribution
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or equivalent certification in electrical work
- Proficiency in high voltage systems
- Experience as a commercial or industrial electrician
- Familiarity with bucket truck operations
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Welding experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Previous experience with high voltage systems
- Familiarity with cabling for power distribution
