What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Facility Coordinator position at City of Westerville?
This position mainly works the evening shift from 4:00-9:00pm on weekdays with varying hours on the weekends depending on the rental schedule
Under the direction of the Facility Operations Supervisor, the Facility Coordinator manages recreation facilities and activities and provides great customer service while on duty. This position reports to the Facility Operations Supervisor.
Manages and oversees facility activities including programs, rentals and meetings.
Provide assistance to Facility Operations Supervisor and customers with Community Center/Everal Barn day of rental contracts and facility layouts.
Prepares rooms for meetings, classes, programs and rentals which includes the set up and tear down of (lifting) tables and chairs.
Must work non-traditional hours including evenings, after-hours, weekends and holidays.
Acting as an information source on various matters, keeping abreast with latest developments and changes within the Community Center/Everal Barn.
Exercise initiative and professional judgment in the performance of duties
Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints appropriately, calmly and in a timely manner.
Acquire, through provided training, a working knowledge of RecTrac
Provides tours of recreation facilities and rental space (Community Center/Everal Barn)
Maintains cleanliness of the facility during rentals, classes, and programs. Including, but not limited to, restrooms, outdoor areas, and trash disposal.
Handles customer questions, concerns and complaints in person and on the telephone.
Responsible for safety action during emergency situations.
Will receive training in other areas of the operation including gymnasium, fitness room, climbing wall, adventure fitness.
May be required to work nontraditional job duties such as serving food.
Facility Coordinator Position should be flexible to work shifts that are late evening, weekends and holidays.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships .
Have good problem solving skills with attention to detail.
Able to work without direct supervision.
Salary : $14 - $16
