What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Laborer (Seasonal) position at City of Westerville?
Performs seasonal park maintenance duties including equipment operation tasks; does related work as required, may work unsupervised. This position will have multiple shifts available including weekends and/or 2nd shift possibilities.Work is performed under the general direction of the Parks Manager.(May not include all duties performed.)

- Performs landscaping maintenance including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, cleaning, clearing, planting, watering, sweeping and painting
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and shelters, collecting trash, picking up litter. Cleans and moves materials and supplies
- Carries out any assigned responsibilities relating to the City of Westerville Parks and Recreation Department as directed by supervisors
- Cleans and maintains equipment and reports problems to supervisor
- Required to work in a variety of adverse weather conditions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to develop a working knowledge of the current methods, materials, practices and tools used in the exterior maintenance of parks and recreation facilities.
Ability to learn applicable safety practices.
Ability to exercise good judgment and function within broad guidelines.
Ability to present ideas and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.
Ability to work effectively with other City personnel and the public.
Valid Ohio Driver's License
