What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sport Supervisor position at City of Westminster, CO?
The Sport Supervisor position is responsible for observing and monitoring sports leagues and keeping accurate league records. This position also provides routine field preparation and maintenance. Recreation staff have the primary responsibility of ensuring the safety of program participants.
The availability of work hours for this position will be determined by one or all of the following factors: program length, weather, and budget. Hours for this position will generally be Monday through Friday from 6:45 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience supervising athletic events in a recreational or educational setting
- Experience playing and/or coaching sports
- Frequently sit, stand and walk through a multi-level facility
- Occasionally squat, bend, kneel, twist, climb, balance and reach over head
- Occasionally lift, carry, push or pull items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
- Frequently use hands and fingers for fine manipulation; occasionally use light and firm grasp
- Frequently see objects up close to perform office tasks and far away to observe activity for safety hazards or problems
- Constantly use hearing to interact with guests and staff and recognize trouble outside of view
- Occasionally use sufficient physical strength, stamina and agility to perform emergency work in various capacities
Salary : $19 - $24
