The Activity Manager works under the direction of the Adult Resource and Engagement Specialist and reports to the Administrative and Operations Supervisor. Based out of the Whitehall Senior Center, this position is responsible for executing/coordinating all aspects of providing activities, programs and services for adults of all ages, including Active Older Adults.Essential Job Functions are required but not limited to

1 | Plans and implements Active Older Adult programs and events, which provide opportunities to build relationships among the participants and attract new participants to the facility. |
2 | Plans and implements Active Older Adult programs and events that focus on engagement, health and wellness, and socialization. |
3 | Provides a welcoming environment; makes a special effort to greet new members and program participants and encourages positive relationship building in and among class participation. |
4 | Develop schedules, flyers, materials, and calendars to share with marketing team. |
5 | Ability to conduct oneself with patience, empathy, respect, and optimism at all times with participants. Must apply best practices relating to participant safety and wellness. |
6 | Light janitorial duties to maintain a sanitary and safe facility. |
7 | Other duties as assigned. |

Working Conditions:
- While performing the essential functions of this job, is regularly required to stand; sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear; read and write; keyboard; and occasionally lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work is occasionally in an outdoor environment both within and outside the City limits. The employee may be exposed to environmental elements including extreme heat and rain, loud noise, mechanized equipment, dirt, dust, chemicals, and foul odors
Salary : $15 - $19
