- Specific duties depend on specific work location and activities.
- Performs basic maintenance and repair tasks.
- Maintains golf carts, including battery replacement, oil changes, tire repair and other minor repairs.
- Performs basic carpentry, painting, sheetrock and/or plumbing work.
- Performs routine custodial and/or grounds maintenance tasks.
- Performs basic irrigation work, including: changing heads, fixing leaks, and setting irrigation clocks.
- Participates in snow removal operations.
- Assists with response to emergency situations.
- Completion of work assignments may require the operation of a vehicle.

- Some knowledge of the methods, practices, tools and materials used in maintenance work
- Some knowledge of hazards and safety precautions related to maintenance work
- Ability to use the hand tools, portable power tools and other equipment needed to complete work tasks

- To repetitively bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat and reach as necessary to complete work tasks
- Ability to lift and carry bulky items, weighing up to 80 pounds, occasionally for a sustained period; heavier loads with the assistance of another person
- Ability to perform pulling and pushing activities with up to 40 lbs. of force
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hrs. per day
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to tolerate minor exposure to chemicals used in maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to tolerate airborne environmental nuisances such as machine exhaust and dust, and wet, slippery surfaces

- May require ability to read, interpret and apply information contained in technical manuals and instructions

Required Experience and Training
- 6 months of hands-on maintenance or groundskeeping experience in an outdoor environment.
- A valid Kansas Driver’s License.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Training
- A working knowledge of the game of golf, demonstrated by direct involvement or employment in a golf environment.
- Six months of hands-on experience in golf course maintenance including practical skills in operating maintenance equipment, performing equipment and engine repairs, and executing irrigation repair and maintenance tasks, as well as the safe application of fertilizers and pesticides.
- Six months of experience in golf course set-up and general turf care is, demonstrating the ability to prepare and maintain high-quality playing surfaces.
Salary : $14 - $20
