The City of Wildwood is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Communications- Economic Development Manager. This position will manage the City’s communications and economic development efforts under the direction of the City Administrator.
Responsibilities include implementation of the City’s Economic Development Plan, Master Plan and 5-Year Strategic Plan; executing a business retention and expansion plan; participation in community organizations; develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies; plan and execute enhanced public awareness; ensure consistent branding across all communication platforms; manage social media accounts; and deliver emerging communication trends to best engage residents.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with strength in coursework of strategic communications and/or economic developments. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years current experience in communications or economic development, preferably in a municipal government setting. Proficiency in website management, social media platforms and email marketing. Superior verbal/written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information clearly.
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $84,826.00-$127,240.00 and will be dependent upon experience/skill set. The City also offers a robust benefits package.
