Farmers Market Manager

The City of Williamsburg's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position Farmers Market Manager. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a weekly Farmers Market. Requires independent judgement and extensive interaction with government, outside agencies and entities, and the public.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent and
• Three (3) years of experience in program planning, marketing, agriculture; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Qualifications:

• CPR/AED Certification required within three months of hire date.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• VAFMA Certified Farmers Market Manager
• ServSafe Manager
