Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers the telephone and answers inquiries from public and co-workers regarding departmental procedures and services
- Greets the public and provides them with assistance and general information
- Keeps employee information and schedules in on call calendar for Public Works up to date
- Alphabetizes and organizes complex filing
- Maintains complex records and data
- Produces computer generated data and word processing documents
- Prepares and completes forms
- Performs mathematical statistical and other data related skills
- Processes payment of invoices, purchase orders, contract payments and tracking of those payment and purchase requests
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Previous experience in clerical/office work is preferred
- Valid driver's license
