Job Description
This Infrastructure Support Worker role plays a critical part in maintaining the City of Winona's water treatment and distribution system. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow with the organization.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including oil changes, motor replacements, and bearing repairs.
- Assist in the cleaning and repair of pumps, filters, and valves.
- Operate grounds keeping equipment, including mowers, sprayers, whippers, chainsaws, and snow blowers.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in municipal utility maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake and tanker endorsement within six months.
- Ability to obtain a Class D Water Operator license within 16 months.
