Woodbury Public Safety sponsors Police and Fire Explorer Posts. Exploring is a vocation-based program of Learning for Life, a subsidiary of the Boy Scouts of America, for youth ages 14 through 20. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of law enforcement or related career field in the criminal justice system.
The program provides young adults a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rule of law, physical fitness, good citizenship and patriotism.
Woodbury Police Explorers are youth-led and supported by adult advisors that teach important life and career skills to young people from all backgrounds through immersive career experiences and mentorship. We equip young people with character, leadership and life skills that can be used both today and in their future careers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Between the ages of 14-20 years of age.
