What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - EVGC Assistant Golf Professional position at City of Woodbury?
The First Assistant Golf Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing all daily golf related operations.
This position will also have the opportunity to work 20-25 hours a week in the center at M Health Fairview Sports Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The First Assistant Golf Professional will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the overall daily golf operation
Supervise and direct service staff during your shifts to ensure a positive experience that exceeds customer expectations
Train, schedule and supervise Outside Service Staff
Ability to effectively uphold golf course policies in a professional manner
Assist with all aspects of the merchandise program, including special orders
Administer designated leagues and small group events
Opportunity to provide junior, group and private instruction
Keep golf shop and work areas clean and organized
Maintain and foster an environment, which facilitates the Exceeding Expectations (professional, responsive, leaders) philosophy of the City

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Past experience in a service-related field
Be enrolled in or aspiring to a golf focused career path
