What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance - Traffic position at City of Wyoming, MI?
This position is an excellent opportunity to learn traffic maintenance and management and build soft skills important for traffic duties. Work responsibilities are split between the field and office. Field work includes collecting traffic count data, inspecting and painting road markings, and helping with construction work zones. Office work is mostly limited to the sign shop, where traffic signs are printed and assembled.
The position is full-time, 38 hours per week. The work week is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A City vehicle is provided for any field work during the work day. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to work in various climates and operate light tools.
