What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree/Flower Maintenance position at City of Yankton?
The City of Yankton is currently accepting applications for Flower/Tree Maintenance in the Parks and Recreation Department.
An employee in this position will assist in watering and weeding (as needed) the flower plantings in the baskets and pots downtown along with a few other city flower bed locations. Other park maintenance duties will be assigned if time allows. This position will work eight hours Wednesday through Friday, from 7:00am. – 3:30pm. Saturday and Sunday will consist of approximately four hours each day starting at 6:00am. The work week will be 36 hours or less if the flowers do not need to be watered/weeded. The applicant must be able to drive a small utility vehicle with a clutch. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 17 years old.
