**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
Under the direction of an employee of a higher classification, performs responsible professional administrative work involving advanced grant and contract planning. Work involves responsibility for performing responsible administrative work in planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating local, state and federal grant progWork also involves supervision of the procurement and contract administration process for employment and training activities and services. General supervision may be exercised over a moderate sized staff of professional and clerical personnel. Work is performed within established guidelines and procedures. Performs other work as requested.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, psychology, sociology, or a related field and two years of experience involving the preparation or administration of grants and contracts.
**SUBSTITUTIONS**
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
