POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Partnerships Assistant will join a 13 person fundraising team raising approximately $15 million annually from individual donors, foundations and institutions, corporate sponsors, and government to support our free programs in New York City parks. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Assistant will support the Corporate Partnerships team and play a vital role in seasonally supporting our summer corporate sponsorship responsibilities, focused heavily on our SummerStage festival in Central Park and citywide in neighborhood parks across the five boroughs. This is an opportunity to work at live events with massive New York City exposure and with diverse clients across various categories including beverage, banking, automotive and more. Projects and responsibilities will include planning, executing and tracking sponsorship integrations and branding.

COMPENSATION : $22 per hour

ROLE DURATION : Early May to Mid October 2025

FORMAT : Hybrid (office, remote and on-site at events across the city)

HOURS : Approximately 4 days per week, 20-30 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES :

General support for all corporate partnerships initiatives across City Parks Foundation with a focus on SummerStage / CityParks Shows and as needed support of CityParks Play, CityParks Learn, and CityParks Build.
Assisting with the sponsorship execution of corporate partners including managing contracts, invoices, on-site activation documentation, guest lists, inventory tracking, data entry and more.
On-site duties at SummerStage events include assisting with client service, supporting client load-in / load-out, assisting with sponsor products integrations, and general troubleshooting.
Track and organize corporate partners’ related content and photos for season recaps.
Assist with execution and tracking of corporate partner digital content (sponsored social media posts, website, email marketing, etc.).
Assisting with the cultivation and research of new and existing corporate partners.
Additional tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be enthusiastic about working on live events, working outdoors in parks, and building community.

Ideally passionate about performing arts, culture, sports, environmental education, community building, or some combination.

Must demonstrate strong communication, project management and creative thinking skills.

Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge or experience in marketing, client service and working with brands preferred.

Must have working knowledge of Google Suite Applications.

Salesforce experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.

Must be available to work nights and weekends, and willing travel independently to parks throughout the five boroughs.

Must be able to work using a personal computer equipped with wifi, camera and microphone for video conference calls.

This position is open to current college students or recent graduates as long as the candidate can work in person for the entirety of the position duration. This position may qualify for academic credit if desired.
