Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Drive process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
- Support audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Expertise in GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP accounting systems and advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
