Responsibilities of the Corporate Paralegal:
- Support attorneys with corporate litigation matters, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory compliance, and case law.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.
- Review and assist with corporate transactions, contracts, and regulatory filings.
- Prepare and file motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Track case deadlines, manage attorneys’ calendars, and update legal management software.
- Communicate with corporate clients, outside counsel, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications of the Corporate Paralegal:
- Experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate law or corporate litigation.
- Strong knowledge of corporate legal procedures, regulatory requirements, and court filing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
