Medical Admin Responsibilities :
Organize and maintain patient medical records in both physical and electronic formats, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Input and verify patient data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, strictly adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Retrieve, track, and log medical records for authorized personnel while addressing inquiries from patients or third parties.
Perform audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to obtain missing or updated information and prepare records for audits or legal requests.
Qualifications for the Medical Admin :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in medical records management or a similar role.
Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems, and HIPAA regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
Reliable transportation to our Providence, RI, location.
