Responsibilities of the Payment Poster :

  • Accurately post payments from insurance companies, patients, and third-party payers to patient accounts.
  • Reconcile daily payment batches and ensure proper allocation of funds.
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, including underpayments and denials.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and internal billing teams to clarify payment issues.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Generate and review reports to ensure proper account reconciliation.

    • Qualifications of the Payment Poster :

  • Proven experience in medical billing, payment posting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of insurance payment processes, remittance advice, and denial management.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be able to commute to our location in [Location].
