A highly respected law firm in Rhode Island is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal with experience in insurance defense litigation and medical records review. Key Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal :

  • Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake to resolution
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records to support case strategy
  • Conduct legal research and assist in trial preparation
  • Communicate with clients, medical experts, and opposing counsel to gather essential case details
  • Support attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, and court proceedings
  • Track case deadlines, ensuring timely filings and compliance with court requirements

    • Qualifications of the Personal Injury Paralegal :

  • 2 years of paralegal experience in personal injury, insurance defense, and medical record analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and insurance defense strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
  • A paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience required
