We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Final Measurer for our Windows and Siding division. This role is crucial in ensuring that all measurements are accurate and meet the specifications required for installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as experience with various hand tools. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure windows and siding areas to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Assemble components as needed based on measurement outcomes.
- Collaborate with installation teams to provide precise measurements for door hanging and trim carpentry.
- Fabricate necessary materials on-site to meet project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on measurements to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or a related field, with skills in construction estimating preferred.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to window and siding installation.
- Experience with trim carpentry, door hanging, and construction painting is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
