Requirements:
You must have an active Fire Guard (F01) certificate. If you do not have an F01, we will provide you with the study guide resources and reimburse your application fee in your first paycheck.
High School Diploma or GED
Starting salary is $16.70 per hour.
City Safe Partners Security is seeking New York State Licensed Security Officers with a Fire Guard (F01) Credentials.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Guarding fire systems and checking for premises fire safety as outlined by FDNY for NYCHA resident towers
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and gas leaks.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Maintain environment by monitoring, setting building and equipment controls.
- Each guard shall be able to stand on their feet for an entire round of checking tags and work outside in any type of weather conditions.
- Fireguards must be able to understand, speak and write the English language fluently, and be able to communicate with personnel and the public intelligently.
- The fireguard shall be courteous, articulate, and able to use good judgment.
