What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Event Security Officer position at City Shield Security Services, LLC?
Detroit-based contract security company City Shield Security Services is hiring security officers to work with our Special Event Unit in support of the 2024 NFL Draft! This is an exciting event coming to Detroit from April 26-28. Security experience is preferred, but we do have entry level positions available for those interested in protecting the fan experience.
Requirements:
- 18 years old to apply
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass a state and national background check
Job Description:
(Duties include but are not limited to the below, full post orders will be provided during orientation)
- Greeting guests as they enter the venue (customer service skills a must!)
- Running patron screening stations with metal detectors and Evolv machines (training provided)
- Monitoring your assigned area and maintaining the perimeter
- Other basic security functions as assigned
