As a Security Officer at City Shield Security Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel. This position is essential for maintaining a secure environment and providing peace of mind to our clients throughout Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Test fire extinguishers weekly and conduct other safety checks during walking rounds
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies when necessary
- Manage conflicts effectively to de-escalate situations and maintain order.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Requirements
- Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred
- Ability to complete walking rounds of the building and maintain front desk
- 18 years old to apply
- Must pass a state/national background check
- Able to work independently and sign off on fitness for duty statement
