What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Training Specialist position at City Sports Clubs?
PERSONAL TRAINERS

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide 1-on-1 instruction to new and current clients
- Design customized personal training based on client’s goals and needs (aches, pains, injuries, and medical conditions)
- Provide monthly measurements and fitness tests for client to adjust personal training programs
- Assist with any nutritional guidance needs a client may have
- Schedule clients consistently every week
- Maintain all personal training equipment in the personal training area
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification required, to be maintained throughout employment. (Ex. NASM, ISSA, ACE, NFPT, etc.) or a degree in exercise science (or related degree) in lieu of certification.
- Experience in fitness and strength training required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sound judgement.

- Dresses appropriately and professionally in required uniform.
- Ability to physically and vocally demonstrate exercise activities and methods on available equipment and weights (up to 88lbs) in private settings.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the facilities
- Able to visually and auditorily monitor clients’ activities.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, staff, and others in person, by telephone, and in writing.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Our Personal Trainer functions regularly within exercise, recreation, and office settings. Our personal training area is a highly modernized and motivating training environment that each coach will have access to! These pods are specifically designed for the programming used for the semi-private training sessions.
