City Therapeutics is seeking a CNS Project Lead. The selected candidate will drive the project team by managing internal cross-functional and external collaborations. This role will lead the identification of siRNA leads for CNS target(s), contribute to platform strategy and new target evaluations. Please note this is an on-site opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Oversee efforts to identify candidate siRNAs for lead CNS target(s)
- Develop and manage project plan to progress candidate siRNAs from discovery to development candidate
- Collaborate with computational biology, screening, platform and in vivo pharmacology functions to advance project
- Manage research including engagement and oversight of CROs
- Lead cross-functional working group to enable and execute the project plan
- Participate in the assessment of new platform technologies
- PhD in biology, pharmacology, biochemistry or related field with 8-10 years of experience or MS degree with 12 years of experience
- Direct CNS disease biology experience strongly preferred
- Experience with CRO engagement and oversight to execute studies
- Experience with external academic or industry collaborators
- Oligonucleotide experience preferred (siRNA, ASO, mRNA)
- Track record of success leading cross-functional teams to drive scientific results
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a nimble and innovative environment
