Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist / Sr. Associate Scientist to join our Chemistry team in developing next-generation RNAi medicines. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate about early-discovery work, eager to learn, and capable of adapting flexibly to a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Independently perform every step of the oligonucleotide synthesis process, from small scale to medium scale synthesis to cleavage & deprotection to purification / desalting and characterize compounds.
- Synthesize and analyze substituted oligonucleotides containing a variety of chemical modifications in support of internal programs, partnered programs, and platform work.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment, purification, and analytical instruments such as Agilent HPLC system, AKTA purifier, UPLC, LCMS, and other state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, ensuring their proper use and performance.
- Closely work with biologists to communicate timelines and facilitate synthesis requests
- Track progress, generate status updates, organize experimental data, and present in both written and oral formats at cross-functional team meetings.
- Prepare SOPs and accurately record detailed experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks.
