Cocktail Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Beverage Server to join our team in a vibrant cafe bar/cocktail lounge environment. As a Beverage Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that patrons have an enjoyable experience while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Serve beverages to guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring all orders are accurate.
• Engage with guests to provide information about drink specials and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Buss tables and assist in clearing away used dishes and glasses to maintain a tidy environment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy nightclub or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food and beverage service.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
