Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are correct before serving to guests.
- Assist servers in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Handle food items following proper food handling and safety guidelines.
- Support the team during busy service periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
- Manage cash register transactions when required, ensuring accuracy in processing payments.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Previous experience in banquet service is advantageous but not required.
