Assistant Manager

We're currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a part of our Management Team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Whether it's overseeing daily operations, managing staff, or handling customer inquiries, we’ll rely on you to lead by example and step in wherever you’re needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Commit to providing extraordinary customer service by developing and inspiring staff to achieve and surpass the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in leading the restaurant team to excellence by taking a proactive approach to training, motivating, and retaining team members.
  • Be the person who “rallies the team” and reinvigorates the staff to provide an industry-leading customer experience.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance guest loyalty by monitoring customer feedback and reviews, taking proactive measures to improve service quality, and resolving any issues effectively.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate staffing levels to ensure smooth daily operations by effectively hiring, training, and developing team members.
  • Oversee and streamline all restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, exceptional service, and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Hold team members accountable for their performance and adherence to standards, coaching when necessary.
  • Assist in controlling operations costs, including COGS and labor.
  • Implement and maintain strict sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards, including but not limited to safety and regulations, health department standards, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Oversee compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
  • Supervise the completion of opening and closing procedures.
  • Oversee cash and security management.
  • Prepare employee work schedules; monitoring frequently and making appropriate adjustments.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels.
  • Execute basic maintenance duties, collaborating with leadership on when it is appropriate to call professional support.
  • Managements' primary role is to actively engage in floor operations, setting the standard for excellence, by contributing to smooth operations; this includes but is not limited to bussing tables, running food, and addressing any other immediate needs that directly impact the guest experience.
  • Treat others with respect and dignity at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a restaurant supervisory role is preferred.
  • Experience in leading, training and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
  • Ability to maintain composure under high pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Basic math, computer, and cash handling skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional and positive disposition.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, crouching, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds
