Weekends
3pm - 11pm shift
The Nursing Supervisor provides quality nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day activities of the Nurses, nursing assistants and maintain the facility in a calm efficient manner. Must be able to multitask make independent decisions and follow up with DON and Administrator with emergent situations. Must have knowledge of federal, state, & local laws and policies of this organization. Provide excellent customer service for resident's visitors and staff. Responsibilities :
Ensure all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures established by this organization.
Assure the implementation of resident care plans.
Follow up with any tasks that DON or Nurse Mangers assign. Inservice staff on Polices and Procedures. Ensure that staff have completed all necessary assessments for resident care.
Communicate pertinent information and interpret facility policies to residents, staff, families and visitors.
Communicate effectively will all disciplines.
Keep DON informed of information of any changes in resident condition. Take call offs and attempt to replace staff as necessary.
Review, investigate and document properly all incidents / accidents.
Evaluate emergency situations and take appropriate action.
Assist nursing personnel with any challenges they may have.
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc., as necessary.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current, unencumbered Il. nursing license RN
Previous nursing experience in a supervisory role preferred
CPR and IV certification required Job Type : Part-time Medical specialties :

Long term care with able to work with mental ill residents. Experience :
