Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction materials through rigorous testing and analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, quality control measures, and construction site protocols. The Test Technician will work closely with engineers and project managers to support various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials, including concrete and masonry, to assess their properties and performance.
- Perform quality control inspections on materials used in construction projects.
- Collect data from tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of reports detailing findings and recommendations based on test results.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to conduct inspections and provide feedback on material usage.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained for future reference.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to industry standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laboratory or construction environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and masonry practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and construction inspection protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
